Bullitts Game Write Up:

Back at it after a long holiday break, taking on the first place Cobras. I would've thought the break would mean this game would start slow, but it did not. Quick pace in the first, with both teams getting some chances. I'll just say it now, Sale had himself a DAY. He made a few unreal saves that kept us in it the entire game. Halfway through the first, our sub Bret McKenzie put us on the board with a goal from EP Peters and myself. Then, it was a ton of back and forth chances through the rest of the 1st, and through the whole, scoreless 2nd. 30 seconds into the 3rd, TJ Terry Johnson gets a goal from Chet to go up by 2. Cobras didn't back down, though, and scored within a minute to cut it back to one. But then Sale put us on his back and stopped everything coming his way until EP scored a DISRESPECTFUL goal by popping the opposing goalies water bottle, and Chet was able to finish us off with a 4th to win 4-1. Fast game. I'm still tired. Thanks to Bret for subbing, we'll be playing him Friday!
