We're back and later than ever! Nice 8:30PM start down in Southgate to start the season. Big matchup against a deep Bullitts team and it kicks off with 2 quick ones from the guys in Blue.  We fight back with 2 of our own and it remains tied until late in the 2nd when the Bullitts grab the lead.  We throw everything at Eric Sale but he closes the door and we aren't able to tie things up unfortunately.  The squad played well enough to win but it was not our night. Looking for a rebound on Friday against the Marauders.

New season, new Bullitts! After a long, very hot summer, it's finally our favorite time of the year. Hockey season. It's about time! First game of the season is against the Superchiefs, one of the top teams last season. Vincent put together a good squad, and we knew we'd have our work cut out for us. And of course, as every beginning of the season is, we have subs. Thanks to Uplegger and Bradybaugh for subbing in. The new Bullitts get started quick, with Sladich getting our first goal of the season in the first minute on a nice shot from the top of the circle that found that top corner. But we're not finished. Less than a minute later, subbing Bradybaugh gets a nice goal with a nice helper from Big Terry Johnson. Then we took some time off from scoring. And sure enough, the Chiefs come roaring back and score 2 to tie it up and take us to first intermission tied up. Early in the second, Halloran and Jenna did a fantastic job of keeping the zone, and Jenna fed Chet perfectly in front all by himself to take the lead. Then, it's a hard fought game. Both teams had aome good chances, with the Chiefs pouring it on hard. But Sale stood tall and got the win! Good start to the season! And now we have a short week and will get back at it Friday against the T Bolts. Great to be back!
