The lights were bright Friday night in the prime-time slot as the Raud Squad took on the high scoring Mustangs. The stands were packed with young and eager college kids getting an unfortunate look into their future.
It was a battle of the Caldwell’s, and both were on top of their game making it difficult for either team to score. ACO managed to snipe 2 top shelf, Chris Robillard managed to capitalize on one of his 30 second shifts, and Soper buried a huge rebound goal. But it was the stellar play of Killer Caldwell that earned him POG honors and earned the Raud Squad the W. Killer also sent the crowd into a tizzy after shutting down Gorski on 2 breakaways.
This was our third battle of the Caldwell’s this year, and Killer always turns it up a notch in these games. Good thing we won’t have another one until Monday.

Mustangs got the goal scoring started with myself tipping the first one in. Unfortunately it was tipped into our own net for the mauraders. Gorski muscles two in for our actual team. One shot through caldwell and the other finishes up a rebound. Robson gets our third off an offensive draw to jc and back to robson. Mauraders come away with the win, which was kind of pre-determined. Their team is way too good. Thanks to the subs Caldwell, Jones, Ruben.
