SuperChiefs Game Write Up:

SuperChiefs coming off a 2 week bye are looking for their first win of the season. The team really has to earn this W. We fall down early in the first and turn up the heat to finally get one by Adams halfway through the second. A lot of back and forth until late in the third last minute sub, Bradybaugh, gets his second of the night and eventual game winner! Thank you to Jake and Hangover Harris for subbing in.

Galaxies Game Write Up:

[Lights up on the balcony seats. Waldorf adjusts his scarf. Statler leans forward with his trademark scowl.]

Statler: Well, Waldorf, did you catch that FHL thriller Friday night in Allen Park?

Waldorf: If by "thriller" you mean a slow-motion train wreck on ice... then yes, I did!

Statler: The Galaxies lost 2-1 to the SuperChiefs. A real barn burner—if the barn was frozen, empty, and missing one of the walls.

Waldorf: I haven’t seen a collapse like that since the last time I sat in a camping chair!

Statler: Seventeen seconds left, and they give up a goal after a turnover at center ice. Who was handling the puck—Mr. Magoo?

Waldorf: No, even Magoo could’ve iced that game. These guys couldn’t clear the zone if it was on fire and they had a fire hose!

Statler: Poor Adams. Faced more pressure than a soda can in a paint shaker.

Waldorf: He was the only Galaxy not drifting through space! The rest of them were playing like they were on a team-building retreat... in slow motion!

Statler: Rochna scored the only goal after Korepta launched a missile from outside the blue line.

Waldorf: Yeah, I haven’t seen a missile like that since the Cold War! The rebound landed right on Rochna’s stick like it felt bad for him.

Statler: And don’t get me started on Tassis—four games, zero penalties!

Waldorf: Is he playing hockey or applying for sainthood?

Statler: I’d say he’s allergic to the penalty box, but that would imply he gets close to the action.

Waldorf: You know, I thought the Galaxies were turning a corner this season.

Statler: Yeah—turning the puck over the entire way!

Waldorf: The SuperChiefs looked better organized, more focused... and they remembered that you're supposed to shoot the puck at the net.

Statler: Meanwhile, the Galaxies passed the puck around like it was a hot potato with tax debt!

[Both laugh and shake their heads.]

Statler: If I wanted to see grown men stumble around lost and confused, I’d just go to the DMV.

Waldorf: Or a Muppet staff meeting!

[They both cackle loudly.]

Together: DOHHH-HOHOHOHOHOHO!
