Arrr, the Marauders be usually a fine seafarin' crew, but even these salty sailors weren’t prepared for the high tide and rough waters on the Southgate ice surface. We forgot our floaties, snorkels, and flippers as the puck stuck to every inch o’ the ice, turnin’ our speed into a crawl, aye.

Admiral ACO managed to wade through the waters in the first four seconds and find the back of the net, but the next four goals belonged to the Cobras, slitherin’ through the treacherous waters like the sly serpents they be. Captain Killer Caldwell did all he could, but despite all the water, his mates hung him out to dry, they did.

Jolly Joe Zalewski managed to pot 2, bringin’ the Raud squad within one, but the scrappy serpents sent the pirates crashin’ to Davy Jones’ locker with one last shot across the bow. Arrr, it be a salty game, matey!

Cobras start another tilt going down 1-0 within the first 10 seconds of the game. The only good thing is we always find a way to make it 1-1 before the 9 minute mark.

Vinny gets a hatty by the 5 minute mark of the 1st period and we roll into the 2nd up 4-1. 2nd period had lots of chances on both sides of the ice. Rauds get 1 and we head into the 3rd 4-2.

Another stagnet period until Upps takes it into his own hands and tucks one in to give us a cushion. Zack stands tall and gets us back into the win column!
