Well this was one of you chalk up to being the first game of the year. We come out playing well and LeFevre scores the first goal on a nice feed from Dolega. Then Jonesy throws a puck out front that hits my foot and goes in. 2-0 good guys but as Lee Corso would say Not So Fast My Friend... the refs waive the goal off. The fans in attendance disagree with the call and the game was all t bolts after that. They cruise to an easy W and we look to get our legs for week 2. Good to be back.

Welcome back to the FHL! We’d like to welcome some of the new guys to the league, Matt McKinney, Jeff Rubley and Nick Patrick. The new guys played well adapting to the league. Great locker room guys as well! It wouldn’t be a Thunderbolt season if we didn’t give up the first goal, after that we seemed to settle down and get our legs. McKinney comes out with the natural hatrick with helpers from Ryan. New guys Rubley and Patrick say hold my beer, watch this as Jeff score 2 with helpers from Nick. The “new guys” combined for 6 goals and 3 helpers! That’s one way to get acquainted to the league real quick! The D played well! Alex is in mid season form! Looking forward to great season!
