The red hot Diesels come in with a ton of confidence after last week's victory over the Fiesta.  Vegas had their hands full on setting the spread, but finally came out with Thunderbolts -1.5.  How could you not take the T-bolts with that line especially with the regular season numbers? 

Seemed like easy money at the beginning with Tbolts catching the Diesels off guard and netting 2 quick goals in under 3 minutes.  Diesels settle down and start to play their game and contain much of the offensive attack from the T-bolts.  Shots were a premium and Contreraz seemed to stop everything with ease.  Late in the second, the Diesels finally tally one after Sharlow just threw one to the front from the corner and found a Tbolt skate to bank it in.  That seemed to change the tied as the Diesels carry the momentum into the third period down 2-1.  First shift of the third, Deroche connects with Sharlow on a pass toward the net that Sharlow snuck through the wickets of AC.  Crowd goes wild as it looks like the Diesels may be on the verge of blowing things open, but they quickly forget the strength of the Tbolt offense and give up 2 goals in 30 seconds!  Down 4-2 with just under 9 minutes left.  Diesels come storming back with another identical play with Ed feeding Deroche, to another tip-in by Sharlow.  1 minute later, the Diesels get the forecheck going and Nate feeds big man Curtis in the slot for an absolute lazer into the net.  4-4 with 5 minutes left!  Diesels continue to play strong, but commit an error with 3 min left as they fail to connect on a pass in neutral ice that is intercepted by Ryan Zack pinching.  RZ tries to beat the Diesels on the outside and threw one at the net that bounces off a Diesel player and into the net.  Crushing goal, but the spirit was not down as there was still plenty of time to come back.  Multiple chances for the Diesels with the goalie pulled, but no luck.  Diesels cover the spread and Vegas cashes in once again!  Great effort for the Black and Yellow with POG honors going to Sharlow with a huge hattrick in the biggest game of the year.  Diesels are still in control of their playoff destiny with a win and in scenario next week against the Mavericks!

Tbolts storm out to a 2-0 lead only to have the pesky Diesel come right back! Playoff hockey, physical game. Tbolts get 2 more to take a 4-2 lead, Diesels refuse to give up as they tie it again.
