Happy New Year!  Diesels were not ready for the game against the Allen Park Globetrotters (AKA Thunderbolts)!  Andy plays out of his mind in the 1st period and keeps us in a 1-0 game with little offensive effort by the Diesels.  Diesels get some life after they tie it early in the 2nd, but that's when the wheels finally fall off and the Tbolts just make the Diesels look silly the rest of the way.  I'd get into the details from the scoresheet, but Scotty was still on vacation mode in the box as I can't make heads or tails of his record keeping.  Diesels do get another goal in the 3rd from big Ed as he plays tennis-hockey with Goalie Guacamole (Ed shot 1 - rebound 10 feet, Ed shot 2 - rebound 6 feet, Ed shot 3 and in!).  Short lived moment as the Tbolts answer right back a couple more times.  Score sheet showed 8-1, scoreboard showed 7-2, so had to fire up the LiveBarn and watch the dumpster fire all over again!  Final score 8-2.  Thanks to former Diesel, Petro, for stepping in.

Good to be back on the ice after the Holliday Break. Thunderbolts came out hard getting a ton of chances but making to many passes and not getting the puck on net.  We finally started shooting the puck and Andy stood on his head to keep the score 1-0 after the 1st.  Alex we pretty bored not getting much action.
