SuperChiefs Game Write Up:

SuperChiefs riding a 3 game hot streak look to take advantage of a sub filled Escorts squad. Callum gets on the board early on a rebound tap in started by Rocco. Unfortunately that was all the tap-ins we'd get for the rest of the game as the Escorts goalie slammed the door on many more scoring chances. Penalty trouble got us in trouble and we fell behind 3-1 until Chet iced the game away on an ENG.  Thank you to Grashik for subbing in net.

Escorts Game Write Up:

The Escorts came into this one heavily subbed missing our first 3 picks in the draft. The subs came through though - scoring all 4 goals.

The SuperChex SuperCheifs got the first goal right off the bat and it looked like it was going to be a rough game - but subs Rochna and Chet alternated scoring before Chet finished it off with an empty netter to seal the victory.

The score of this game should have been a lot different. For starters, I missed a wide open shot in front of literally half the league that would have put the game away a lot earlier. I'll own that. I might not be able to score but at least I can text the subs who can.  

Rookie goalie John Vanetta takes another player of the game honor with his stellar goaltending - beating out the crossbar who also made about 5 saves too. 

Rumor has it our new vegas gold jerseys will be here next week. If so, I'm glad we could (finally!) retire the old mariners jerseys the right way - with a win! 

Still no word on whether Davis rememebred to take his boots hunting with him.
