Escorts Game Write Up:

Week 6 of waiting for our new jerseys, we broke out the blue mariners jerseys for this one. It's throwback night.

This one started out with a fast pace and a lot of good defensive hockey on both sides. First round pick Ryan Zack had the zoomies in the first period controlling a lot of the play, but it was 0-0 after 1.

Model T's Jordan Guske would answer 2 minutes later on a freak play where the Escorts step on a loose puck that squirts out right to him for a clear break. Unfortunately for the T's, that would be their only goal. Rookie goalie John Vanetta turned away all the rest of their shots - keeping Aco entirely off of the score sheet.

1-1 after 2 before the flood gates opened in the 3rd.  Additional goals from Zack, Davis, sub Harris, and Rookie 3.5 Escorts scoring leader Peter Pollock icing the game with an empty netter.

Thanks Filar and Harris for subbing. The team is heating up and will be looking for that official gazette "hot" streak next week. Upgrades are in store as the captain will be out of town for work again.
