ModelTs Game Write Up:

That game was a rollercoaster of lead changes. Mack has been our sparkplug all year, and he kept it going in this one. We'll be making some lineup adjustments to feed the hot hand.

We were buzzing in the first period. The legs will eventually last all three periods. You can't win an FHL championship in September or October. One of these games soon, the chemistry will click and we'll start rolling. Until then, we'll keep working.

Killer has been playing great, and the 3x champ turns 60 soon. Join us Saturday, October 24th, at Boneless Wild Wings in Southgate at 7pm to support the young fella.

SuperChiefs Game Write Up:

Pregame discussion around 4:25PM happens between myself and Aco. Both ready to rumble tonight and pontificating on the upcoming season. 

Chiefs fall behind by 2 goals early on with a wicked shot from McKinney and Aco.  The SuperChiefs, determined to get the first W of the season, fight back with goals from Riley and Rocco to tie things up. Later in the 2nd, Riley gets another on an odd man rush, and Bob "Nicotine" Jones scores a PP goal for us to take the lead heading into the 3rd.  The 3rd period has been our bugaboo the past couple weeks and it looked like it would be again after the Model T's tied the game with only 1 minute remaining in the game.  Finally, we get some good luck coming our way, when rookie Zach "Chipotle" Schlacht nets his 1st FHL goal and the eventual game winner with only 37 seconds remaining. 

Feels good to get our 1st win of the season and hopefully this gets us going the right direction up the standings. Thanks to newcomer, Ford Racing, 4 year FHL waitlisted, Callum Parnell, for joining the SuperChiefs.
