Maybe we're just not a first period team. Another slow start to this one with a scoreless first but Sale keeps it clean until we get our act together and pile it on in the second. The top line stays hot with Gorski, Easton and Ordo all putting together multi-point efforts and Robson gets in on the fun with his first of the year, but the real story was between the pipes. Big game from Sale as he notches his first clean sheet of the year on the most shots he's seen since his time as a Fiesta. 

On to next week with a Monday matchup against the Mustangs.

This one hurt. What started out as a close 0-0 game after 1 ended up not so good for the Escorts.  

Part of that is on me, I came in to the game after a late night sunday night. I didn't know hangovers were contagious though, as I appeared to share it with the whole team.  

We had our chances. Lots of rebounds but Sale shut the door on all of them.  

It's not time to pull the fire alarm yet, but it might be time to mix up the lines. In the meantime, we have to go put some more dents in the garage door and get ready for the defending champs next week.
